🎃 Royaal Grand Cru | Beemster | Royaal Grand Cru is a special selection created by Beemster’s master cheesemakers to commemorate the prestigious distinction of being appointed a Purveyor to the Royal Court of the Netherlands. This rare honor is reserved for companies with at least 100 years of history that are deeply rooted in their region, hold significant cultural and economic importance, and have earned the respect and admiration of the Dutch people. It’s a fitting tribute to Beemster’s heritage, craftsmanship, and longstanding tradition of exceptional cheesemaking.

 

Rich, nutty, and regal, Royaal Grand Cru offers deep savory complexity balanced by subtle sweetness and rounded, buttery notes. Its firm, beautifully aged texture is punctuated by crunchy tyrosine crystals, creating a satisfying contrast to its smooth, concentrated flavor. With layers of toasted nuts and savory richness unfolding in every bite, it finishes with a lingering, mellow sweetness worthy of its royal namesake.

🎃  Mimolette | Mimolette is a hard cow’s milk cheese produced in Normandy, Brittany, Nord-Pas de Calais, and other parts of France. Some say it originated in Lille, France, while others think it was first made in Holland. We believe that Mimolette can be traced to the 17th century, specifically to the rule of King Louis XIV. Mimolette is immediately recognizable by its stunning look, which includes a pumpkin-like color witt cratered rind. Its crumbly, semi-hard structure and sweet, caramel-like overtones are developed over the course of the 18-month maturing process.
